The Hot Chicken Project Geelong

Four of us went here last week and did not shut up about it for a week easily. We all got burgers with various sides. The chicken was all perfectly cooked, the combination of the texture of each ingredient worked sooo well together, which felt intentionally curated and I loved that. The Mac n cheese croquet was really good. It was a random side to have but I loved that you could choose from a few things what you wanted for a side rather the chip default.It was a Tuesday and late lunch so there wasn’t much vibe as we were the only people but the decor and feel of the place made me think on busier days the ambiance would be really good.There was a pale ale on tap that was perfection, the staff were friendly and the food came quick.Will be back and will be recommending to others.

Amazing food and good service - keeps me coming back to Geelong! Would gladly drive from South East of Melbourne just to come back here to eat those delicious, delicious turnip greens!! Oh my. I'm salivating again...By the way, the blue cheese sauce is the best I've ever had.

Fantastic!!One of the best food experiences I had on a recent visit to Aussie. After a long day of driving and spot seeing, needed a hearty fix! The spice level was on point! Perfectly balanced! The thigh cooked to juicy perfection.The server was very helpful in helping to determine what was best eaten! Their recommendations were well received and easily the highlight of the experience outside of the food itself!

I enjoyed some great chicken at this place—definitely the best wings I've ever tasted! They were perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was fantastic—lively yet comfortable, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy with your mates.What really stood out was the service, especially Elvis. I've never seen someone engage with customers the way he did. His enthusiasm and willingness to help made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt like more than just a meal—it was an experience.I'll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

It’s fried chicken done really well. Delicious. Not much more to say. If you don’t know what to get go for the wings. You really will be licking your fingers after eating here. Highly recommended.

Tasty! We all (4 of us) had wings, they were so good! Beware of their spice level, they don't mess around. My son loves his spice and ordered the second hottest seasoning - it was eye watering but he still really enjoyed it.It comes with a boring slice of wonderbread at the bottom to soak up the juices and sauce, which didn't meet the level of the chicken and coleslaw.Cool venue, we were there on a hot day, it was nice and cool inside.

I will be dreaming about this juicy chicken burger for a while! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the buns were fluffy and soft, and the sauce was so good and plentiful.It’s messy in the best way!The lady who served us was so nice and had plenty of recommendations!

Absolutely love this place! Been coming here for years. Enjoyed a good feed here again the other night. They have an amazing range of burgers, wings and sides which you can enjoy at different levels of HEAT!! They are not shy about spice here. The menu often has specials which are worth trying and the bar has a great selection. The staff are really knowledgeable and the owners are just lovely. It’s a family friendly venue too. Can be a little cosy but you can definitely fit a pram or grab a highchair for the little ones. You can QR code to order or order with one of the staff. Recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It’s such a great spot in Geelong.
